Test Background 

The southern sector of a 5G base station of an operator in Xuchang suffered long-term interference, which greatly affected indicators such as cell access and handover, which seriously affected the access perception of 5G users. The interference level was around -103dBm.  


Test process one: 

Through the previous analysis, it was suspected that there was an interference source in the equipment in the driving school, but no obvious signal was found in the driving school test. From the base station to the east, the orange track was tested, and the interference signal was tested at the position of test point 3 on the way, and the directional antenna was used to point to the south direction. The signal is strong, and the signal strength gradually increases during the continuous southward journey. When walking to the entrance of a flour factory, the directional antenna is used to point to the interference signal in the factory and the background data of the network management is consistent, and the signal strength is as high as -50dBm.

The on-site and flour mill leaders confirmed that the guard room of the flour mill is equipped with a shield to prevent the inspector and the driver from exchanging vehicle load information privately.

As the 5G network is currently officially commercialized, some special scenarios also require the use of 5G jammers for signal suppression, so these scenarios will generate 5G interference, resulting in poor 5G base station performance indicators.
